Arrest made related to domestic shooting that killed 1 in Hyde Park

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Police have made an arrest related to a shooting that took place inside an apartment Tuesday night killed one man and injured a second.

Police responded to 226 Margaretta Dr. just after 11 p.m. and found two men inside the apartment suffering from gunshot wounds. One of the victims, Darison Pujols, 23, was suffering life-threatening injuries. Paramedics brought him to Brigham and Women's Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

The second victim was taken to Beth Israel Hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries. He has not been identified.

Police say the incident appears to be domestic, and not a random act.

On Thursday night, police arrested 53-year-old Troy Adams of Roxbury and charged him with unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, possession of a firearm with altered serial numbers, and possession of a large capacity feeding device.  Adams, police say, was the man who "encountered" Pujols at the apartment but police did not say if they suspect Adams to be connected to the shooting itself.

He was scheduled to be arraigned in court on Friday.
