BOSTON — A Facebook post about a stranger's kindness has gone viral, sharing a message of empathy and compassion.
The post, under the name Leena Al-Arian, details an encounter between a Muslim mother of two taking her kids to a Boston-area Barnes & Noble and a man named "Lenny."
The poster explains how Lenny offered words of kindness and bought the children presents, offering an apology for "the general anti-Muslim sentiment in our society today."
