BOSTON — An Instagram post by Boston Marathon bombing survivor Adrianne Haslet-Davis is getting some attention after calling out the city.
Over the weekend she noticed one of the wreaths used to pay tribute to the bombing victims wasn’t in the exact spot where it detonated and called out Boston.
“Nice work, Boston,” she said. “Real good job of laying the wreath in front of the wrong place. Nice work. That’s real offensive to everyone. Appreciate it. Cool. So glad I came down to see this. F****** a*******.”
In another post Haslet-Davis said she ended up moving the wreath back to the former Forum Restaurant.
But FOX25 News carried the wreath-laying ceremony live during our Saturday morning news. We went back and looked at our video and found that it appears as though the wreath was placed in the correct spot at the time.
It’s unclear how it ended up in front of the Starbucks where Haslet-Davis found it.
