TAUNTON, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – A young child was hit by a car in Taunton Saturday.
At about 11:40 a.m., a 3-year-old girl was hit by a car on Stevens Street. She was flown by MedFlight helicopter to Hasbro Childrenâs Hospital in Providence, RI. Her condition is unknown.
Witnesses say the child darted out into the street towards oncoming traffic.
The driver, Lauren Fonseca stopped at the scene. It is undetermined if charges will be filed, officials say. The operator was driving a 2009 Chevy Colbalt.
