LOWELL, Mass. — A 21-year-old Weymouth man drowned while swimming at Rynne Beach in Lowell Saturday, according to police.
The man, who has not yet been identified, was pulled from the water and pronounced dead on scene. Police say he was swimming shortly before 4:30 p.m. Saturday when he went missing.
