SANDWICH, Mass. — Police on Cape Cod are investigating a head-on crash that sent two people to the hospital with serious injuries.
The crash happened late Friday night on Route 6A in Sandwich near the Shady Nook Motel.
Police believe the vehicle heading eastbound crossed into oncoming traffic.
Emergency crews needed to use the Jaws of Life to extricate both drivers.
