MEDWAY, Mass. — One person suffered potential carbon monoxide exposure and 35 others were evaluated at the MicroGroup company on Tuesday in Medway, according to a town spokesperson.
Around 9 a.m., a call was made from the health care industry company on Industrial Park Road. The lone person was taken to a local hospital.
Medway Police said the building was evacuated and crews from the Medway Police Department, the Medway, Millis, Norfolk, Franklin, and Bellingham Fire Departments, and paramedics from the Milford Fire Department all assisted on scene.
Officials were still on the scene at noon, the town spokesperson said, but said the incident was deescalating.
It is under investigation.
