FRAMINGHAM, Mass. — One person died after a party at a motel in Framingham and police are trying to piece together what happened to the man in his 20s.
Police tell FOX25 there was some sort of substance passed around at the motel room party and now one man is dead and another has been hospitalized.
Framingham Police were called to Monitcello Motel Monday morning after a man called 911 to say his coworker was unresponsive.
The two men, who are carpenters staying at the motel for work reasons, are from out of state. One of the men was rushed to the hospital and is recovering.
A short time later, a young man in his 20s was also taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
“I think it’s an isolated incident and I don’t think people need to be concerned as far as the act in and of itself,” Lt. Blaise Tersoni, with Framingham Police, said.
To be clear, the two men did not know each other.
