MATTAPOISETT, Mass. — The driver was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Mattapoisett Friday evening.
Police said they received a report of a crash on Aucoot Road around 8 p.m. Friday.
Officers found the vehicle, which had crashed into a telephone pole. EMS on scene determined the driver, the only person in the car, had died.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash, per protocol.
Police have not released the identity of the driver.
