(MyFoxBoston.com) -- Have you ever made up an excuse to get out of work? A new survey out of CareerBuilder.com called out all fibbing employees and compiled a list of the top ten most memorable excuses that employers have received this year.

According to the survey, 28 percent of workers admit that they've called in sick despite feeling well, 30 percent of whom stayed home because they simply didn't feel like going to work. Twenty-nine percent who called in sick said they needed a day to relax and 11 stayed in because of bad weather.

Even though half of the employees who were surveyed said that they had a PTO program that allows them to take days off whenever they choose, 23 percent said they still felt the need to provide an excuse to their employers.
