More than $400,000 raised during Boston Fight for Air climb

BOSTON — More than 2,000 people spent their Saturday morning climbing 41-flights in Boston all to fight for healthier lungs.

The Fight for Air Climb at One Boston Place raises awareness for lung disease and clean air initiatives by having each participant experience the Fight for Air.

"You're actually feeling what it’s like to have lung disease. You're feeling that burn. So people who are climbing today are literally climbing for those who can't,” Jeff Seyler, CEO of the American Lung Association of the Northeast, said.

Five hundred firefighters climbed to the top in their full gear, and they were joined by FOX25 employees and many others.

More than $400,000 was raised for the American Lung Association.
