Celebrities are just like us, and for those who are U.S. citizens, many of them are not only encouraging people to vote, but are heading to the polls themselves.
Some voted early, but many are getting the word out to vote in the midterms today, on election day.
Prominent among voting celebs is Taylor Swift, who endorsed Democratic candidates out of her home state of Tennessee last month.
More celebrities voting are below.
I’m feeling grateful for everyone before me who fought so hard to give us all the right to have a voice. We can’t voice our frustrations and complain about what’s wrong without voting and exercising our power to make it right. We need you. We all need each other, because when we are truly united we are unstoppable. Sending you all love and positivity on this happy voting day! Every vote counts Every race matters Everywhere.
“Mankind -- that word should have new meaning for all of us today. We can't be consumed by our petty differences anymore. We will be united in our common interests...We're fighting for our right to live, to exist... ‘We will not go quietly into the night! We will not vanish without a fight! We're going to live on! We're going to survive!’” -President Thomas J. Whitmore, “Independence Day,” 1996. TODAY, EVERYONE, EVERYWHERE: VOTE!!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
