WARMING UP
After the mild start, today we warm up rapidly with highs maxing out in the low to mid 80s. We’ll start out with lots of sunshine, then clouds will build through the afternoon ahead of a cold front. That will bring some scattered showers after 4 PM. We aren’t looking at much rain, likely less than 0.25″ even with a brief downpour possible.
WEEKEND PREVIEW
Highs will drop back into the seasonable 60s this weekend. Saturday will be sunny. Sunday’s forecast is still trending dry, but we’ll have to watch a close pass of an offshore storm system that could throw back clouds and a few showers. The timing looks to be later in the day, during the evening hours but its something to keep an eye on moving forward.
