SOGGY SATURDAY

A spin offshore is sitting around long enough that it will influence our weekend weather. A front to our west will lift that spin just far enough north that the onshore winds and low-level moisture will increase substantially. A cloudy and cool Saturday was already certain, but now the risk of some drizzle and showers is increasing enough that you need to plan for some wet times. Temperatures will be in the 50s with low 60s in central Massachusetts.

SUNDAY TRYING TO BE FUNDAY

The day will start with clouds and still some drizzle, but improvement is likely. Sun will work its way in from west to east through the day. Areas in central and western New England are most likely to see that sun and warm up. Overall, a drier day.

A warm-up is still on the way next week with 80s likely Tuesday through Thursday ahead of Memorial Day weekend.

Have a great weekend. Congratulations to all the graduates!
