Patterson will fill the void left at kick returner with the departures of Danny Amendola and Dion Lewis.
A 6'2", 220 lb. veteran from Tennessee, Patterson started his career in Minnesota, playing four seasons with the Vikings before signing with Oakland as a free agent last season. He's a two-time All-Pro and two-time Pro Bowl kick returner, with six career kick returns for a touchdown.
