Pastrnak named NHL First Team All-Star

Bruins winger David Pastrnak, who finished the regular season tied for the league lead in goals, was named to the NHL’s First All-Star Team Monday night. He was joined by Hart Trophy winner Leon Draisaitl of the Oilers, Artemi Panarin of the Rangers , Roman Josi of the Predators and John Carlson of the Washington Capitals. The goaltender is Vezina Trophy winner Connor Hellebuyck of the Winnipeg Jets.

Bruins goaltender Tuukka Rask was joined by his teammate Brad Marchand on the NHL’s Second All-Star Team.

Pastrnak led the voting for right wings, taking 166 of the 169 first place votes. Marchand garnered two first place votes at left wing, while Rask received 27 first place votes at goalie.
