LOS ANGELES — Makenna Mebane, the infant daughter of Chargers captain Brandon Mebane, passed away Thursday, January 3 after a battle with Trisomy 13.
Words are hard to come by with the passing of Brandon Mebane’s infant daughter, Makenna.

Mebane was not with the Chargers last Sunday when Los Angeles beat the Ravens in Baltimore. He plans to play Sunday against the Patriots.
"We're doing pretty good," he said when asked how his family is faring. "Just trying to take one day at a time. Still thankful. Thank God every day. Still pray. We're just taking it just one day at a time."
