BOSTON — Boston’s semi-professional soccer team won its way to the top of its conference Saturday night.
Boston City FC downed New York Athletic Club 2-0 to move to take over the top spot in the NPSL Atlantic White Conference.
The Lions’ Kamali Webson notched the first goal just four minutes into the match in Travers Island, New York. Then, just six minutes into the second half, Isaac Addai drove home the second goal.
Boston City sits atop the table with four points on the season. Saturday’s win earned them three points to add to the point earned in a draw with New York Cosmos B last month.
