BC's AJ Dillon gets special Chick-fil-A delivery

DEDHAM — "He was super nice, a wicked normal guy." Those are the words that 17 year old Dedham High School Senior Teddy Kelley used to describe AJ Dillon after he and his friend met the Boston College runningback Wednesday night when they delivered him a Chick-fil-A order that he requested on Instagram.

Here's how this story developed.  While on Instagram on Wednesday night, Dedham High School Senior Jarrett Pretto saw a post from AJ Dillon where he was asking if someone would deliver food to him. This is Dillon's original post.

Pretto immediately responded to Dillon telling him he would get the food for him.  Dillon responded "For Real?".  Pretto immediately called his pal and fellow Dedham High School senior Teddy Kelley because he thought this was all a joke.

"Jarrett called me and told me and I didn't believe him," said Kelley.  "But we started a back and forth with AJ on instagram and we decided to do it.  So Jarrett picked me up and we went to the Dedham Chick-fil-A and bought his food.  We then drove to BC and pulled up outside of his dorm.  Dillon saw us, came outside and we gave him his order"

Kelley and Pretto couldn't believe this was actually happening.  Dillon was just as surprised that these two actually got his food and delivered it.  AJ was so pleased that he suggested they take a picture together, which he then posted on Instagrram.

Dillon also paid for his food and gave the young me an autographed hat.

"We are big BC football fans and we already loved AJ Dillon.  He is one of the best college players in the country and a favorite for the Heisman trophy. But this proves just how cool he really is," said Kelley.

Boston College football is currently ranked #23 in the AP college football coaches poll.
