Yarmouth police arrest man wanted for taking ‘upskirt' videos

YARMOUTH, Mass. — Yarmouth police have arrested a man wanted for allegedly taking upskirting videos at a local clothing store.

Police put out surveillance photos from when the man was in the store on Sunday, July 15. Surveillance video showed the man videotaping women with his cell phone. One of the victims was just 9 years old.

On Thursday night, Yarmouth police posted on their Facebook page that after receiving numerous tips, they were able to identify the suspect as 49-year-old David Wong of New Bedford. Police say Wong is a self-employed cleaner.

Police found Wong at his Tinkham Street home and arrested him. He is currently being held and is set to be arraigned Friday morning.
