WORCESTER, Mass. — Worcester, Massachusetts is known as the "Heart of the Commonwealth;" however, the city has not been shown to put its disabled residents at the center of its priorities, according to a new list.
According to WalletHub, Worcester is the least disabled-friendly city out of 150 of the most-populated cities in the nation. The study took factors into consideration including economy, quality of life, employment rate, and medical care.
The city was last place overall, largely due to its low ability to house people on a disabled income.
Boston also ranked low on the list, coming in 127th place.
