Worcester man identified as victim in Holden murder

HOLDEN, Mass. — The victim in a Holden murder on Saturday has been identified.

Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr. said the victim was identified as 22-year-old Worcester native Lennyn Valerio.

Valerio was found unresponsive by a passerby early Saturday morning on Reservoir Street.

Holden Police and emergency medical personnel responded to the situation, and the victim was transported to the UMass Medical Center. He was pronounced dead shortly after.

Police are still investigating the incident, and are asking for help from the public for any tips.
