An 18-year-old woman is dead and a 20-year-old is in critical condition after a crash in New Hampshire, police say.
Just before 5:30 a.m. Friday, Ossipee police say a passerby saw a car on the side of Route 16.
Police say 20-year-old Logan-Tyler Dunn of Wakefield, Massachusetts was driving a Jeep Grand Cherokee south on Route 16 when the car left the road, hit several trees and flipped over. Police are not yet sure what time the accident occurred.
The passenger, 18-year-old Danielle Benedetto of Wakefield was pronounced dead at the scene. Dunn was airlifted to Maine Medical Center where he’s listed in critical condition.
Police are looking into speed and alcohol as possible factors, but say the accident is still under investigation.
