SAUGUS, Mass. — Saugus police are investigating an armed robbery at a local liquor store.
At 11 p.m. Saturday, police were called to Amato's Liquor Store on Lincoln Avenue for a reported armed robbery.
Police say a man came into the store carrying a gun and demanded money. He fled with the cash and police were not able to find him.

He is described as a white male, approximately 6'0" tall. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, a black mask and a camouflage New England Patriots hat at the time of the robbery.
The clerk was not injured during the incident.
Saugus police have released the surveillance video in the hopes that someone recognizes him.
