BOSTON, Mass. — The standalone UberEATS app will be available for Boston-area residents this Thursday.
The app is free to download and features more than 150 restaurants from Boston and Greater Boston.
Users can open the UberEATS app or access UberEATS.com to view full menus from the restaurants and have their orders delivered seven days a week, making food delivery as easy as requesting a ride.
Originally launched in August 2014, UberEATS is already in several cities across the county. The app shows recommendations based on past orders, time of day and location and 30-minute deliveries.
Not only will Boston users be able to request food deliveries but they'll also be able to track their orders, customize drop-off locations and schedule orders up to an hour before the desired delivery window and as far as a week in advance.
UberEats is available on iOS and Android.
