A crash in Beverly left two pedestrians with serious injuries and a driver arrested Thursday, according to Beverly Police.
Beverly Police Chief John LeLacheur said the crash happened on Cabot Street at Pond Street Thursday night.
We had a pedestrian accident tonight on Cabot Street at Pond with 2 people struck. The injuries are serious but don’t appear to be life threatening. The driver was arrested at the scene. If there are any witnesses please call the station at 978-922-1212. Press release in AM.

Two people were struck, and LeLacheur said their injuries were serious, but didn't appear to be life-threatening.

The driver was arrested at the scene, and police are asking for any witnesses to help provide more information.
