DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ga. — Police in Georgia arrested a woman on aggravated assault charges after she was allegedly involved in a shooting.
In a Facebook post, Douglasville police announced they had arrested a suspect.
WSB’s Tom Jones identified the suspect as Brittney Griffith, who was expected to appear in court for the first time Monday morning.
Douglasville police told WSB that the victim was riding in the front passenger seat of a car when a woman in a black car pulled up alongside the victim’s car and fired a shot. A passenger in the victim’s car was able to take a photo of the suspect, the station reported.

Griffith turned herself into police on Sunday night, WSB reported.
Detectives told WSB that they learned the suspect’s three children, ages 4-9, were in the car with her at the time of the shooting.
