WASHINGTON — Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-New York, has test positive for COVID-19, her office confirmed Sunday evening via Twitter.

According to the statement, Ocasio-Cortez is experiencing virus symptoms, but the severity of those symptoms was not disclosed.
The congresswoman received her booster shot “in the fall,” her office confirmed.
Total U.S. COVID-19 cases surpassed 60 million on Sunday, including nearly 10 million new cases reported within the past 28 days, according to a Johns Hopkins University tally.
