CARVER, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – Police in Carver say a man accused of breaking into a Dunkin' Donuts location earlier this week was caught after a car chase Thursday evening.
Police said an officer spotted the car believed to have been involved in the burglary at about 4:50 p.m. Officers said the suspect took off into Middleboro and abandoned the car on Plymouth Street.
Officers searched for him for about an hour before he was located by a K9 unit.
The suspect was identified as Anthony Miranda, 42, of Middleboro. Police said they confirmed he was the suspect in the Dunkin' Donuts robbery. He was charged with breaking and entering in the nighttime to commit a felony, larceny from a building and using a motor vehicle in the commission of a felony. He also faces a number of motor vehicle violations.
Miranda was held on $25,000. He will be arraigned on Friday.
