NEWBURY, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- A so-called 'kill list' was found at a local middle school Thursday.

Officials in the Triton Regional School District, which serves Newbury, Rowley and Salisbury, sent a message to families letting them know that a teacher found the list early in the day. The superintendent confirmed for FOX25 that the list named Triton Middle School students.

Newbury police were immediately notified along with the parents of the all the students on the list. Police believe two students created it, their families have already been spoken to by school officials.

The principal of Triton Middle School Alan MacRae told FOX25 that he is "extremely disappointed in the decision these students made and glad that ultimately, none of our students were at risk."

The superintendent says he does not believe any of his students are in danger.
