Police warn of tax forms being stolen from mailboxes

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. — If you're still waiting for your W2 form to arrive in the mail, police say you should pay close attention.

The New Bedford Police Department is warning residents that it has received reports of W2s being stolen from mailboxes.

Since the form holds personal information, police warn identity theft could follow.
