Police: Two men sexually assaulted 3 teenage girls who left NH facility

MANCHESTER, N.H. — Two men are accused of sexually assaulting three teenage girls after the teens left a facility in Manchester, police said.

Matthew Hugle, 25, and Chasrick Heredia, 24, were each charged with two counts of felonious sexual assault and three counts of intentional contribution to delinquency, Manchester Police said in a statement.

Police began working on a case involving three missing juveniles who walked away from a non-secured facility on River Road late Tuesday night.

Two of the teenagers, ages 15 and 16, later returned to Granite Pathways, a facility for people with substance use disorders and mental illness. They claimed to have been sexually assaulted during the time they were away from the facility, police said.

The girls also told police that a third teenage girl may have left with the same men who allegedly sexually assaulted them.

An investigation later found that all three girls were sexually assaulted by two men who were later identified and arrested.

The third girl, 15, was found early Wednesday by a Manchester Police SWAT team.

Police arrested Hugle from a Ledgewood Road address around 8 a.m. Wednesday.

Police issued an arrest warrant for Heredia, who was found and arrested hours later during a motor vehicle stop at approximately 6 p.m. Wednesday.

All three victims were taken to area hospitals and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators are still actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the sexual assaults and the connection between the three juveniles and the two adult men.

Both men are scheduled to appear in Hillsborough County Superior Court-North on Thursday.
