WEYMOUTH, Mass. — A man has been arrested in connection to an armed robbery and assault at the Arbor Inn in Weymouth.
Phillip Attardi, a 47-year-old Scituate man, was arrested in connection to the assault, which happened just before 9 p.m. Tuesday.
Police say two suspects walked into the room, assaulted two victims with a gun and then robbed them.
The getaway car used by the robbers was found a short time later and towed to the police station, where it was combed for evidence.
It's still unclear what the motive was for the assaults.
Police told FOX25 crews at the scene that the victims' injuries are serious.
Police are still searching for one of the suspects involved.
