CONCORD, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Police responded to a distraught man, possible armed with a knife, at Emerson Hospital on Friday morning.
Hospital officials say the man was discovered in parking lot around 8:30 a.m.
A large police presence could be seen outside of the hospital. Massachusetts State Police said they were assisting Concord Police in the situation.
The situation was over before 10:30 a.m. The man was taken into custody, according to Concord Police.
A spokesperson from the hospital said that no one has been harmed. Ambulances headed to Emerson were diverted to other area hospitals until the person was removed from the premise.
