SALEM, Mass. — Salem Police say a woman was found dead in the woods Wednesday morning.
Police say a 28-year-old woman was found dead inside a tent early Wednesday. Police say a homeless person reported the death and said the woman is known to be a part of the homeless population in Salem.
Police say there are no signs or trauma or foul play, but an investigation suggests a possible drug overdose.
The medical examiner will conduct an autopsy.
The death is under investigation.
