A person was transported to the hospital after a pedestrian crash in Auburn, according to Auburn Fire Rescue.
The department said crews responded to Sword Street for a reported pedestrian crash, and one person was taken to UMass Medical Center University Campus for their injuries.

Police said the street was closed between Franklin Street and Boyce Street for an investigation.

There was no word on the extent of the person's injuries or any information on the driver involved.
