WEYMOUTH (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - Police are investigating a stabbing inside an apartment building in Weymouth.
It happened on Colonel Lane inside the Queen Anne's Gate apartment complex.
Police found a 27-year-old man on the pavement. He had several stab wounds. One of the victim's friends tried to intervene while police and medics gave the victim first aid. Police pepper sprayed him and the friend ran away.
The victim was taken to South Shore Hospital.
Police are still searching for the friend who ran off. They say they did find a gun near the woods he ran into.
