Patriots' player Jerod Mayo to sell his own line of...mayonnaise

BROCKTON, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Jerod Mayo, linebacker for the New England Patriots, announced he has created his own line of - what else? - mayonnaise.

"Jerod's All-Pro Mayo" is a line of "gourmet" mayonnaise, that comes in three flavors. Kickin' buffalo, bruisin' bacon, and crushin' chipotle will be available at "select Boston area retailers," and online at plbsports.com, according to a press release.

Mayo will be at the Shaw's Supermarket on Belmont Street in Brockton to introduce the product from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday.

Anyone who buys a bottle of the mayonnaise can also get an autograph from Mayo, the release said.

PLB Sports also sells other athletes' food products, including "Gronk Flakes," a line of cereal named after Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski.
