HOLDEN, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- The Worcester County DA's office is investigating the cause of a deadly fire in Holden.
Flames broke out Sunday afternoon at the home on Farragut way.
Officials say one person was inside the home but did not make it out. The victim has not yet been identified.
According to the Worcester Telegram and Gazette, a neighbor called 911 when they heard an explosion and saw fire coming from the home.
Officials say there is no natural gas line to the house and the fire caused extensive damage.
