NH woman arrested on suspected heroin possession charge

MANCHESTER, N.H. (MyFoxBoston.com) – A New Hampshire woman was arrested on a suspected heroin possession charge following a traffic stop in Manchester Tuesday night.

An officer pulled over a car he suspected was traveling over the speed limit in the area of 275 Cilley Road, police said. The officer said when he approached the driver and the three other people inside the car, they all appeared to be very nervous.

The driver of the car, 29-year-old Nathan Lapage, was asked to step out of the vehicle and agreed to let the officer search his car.

During the search, the officer found a pink pocketbook belonging to one of the passengers, 26-year-old Tara Zebrowski. Inside the pocketbook, the officer found five hypodermic needles. Four of the needles were empty and the fifth contained a brown liquid suspect to be heroin, police said.

Zebrowski was charged with possession of a controlled drug. She is expected to be arraigned Wednesday.

Lapage was also arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle after suspension. He was released on $300 personal recognizance bail.
