NH police seize more than $10,000 in drugs, make four arrests

MANCHESTER N.H.(MyFoxBoston.com) -- Police say they seized over $10,000 in drugs and arrested four individuals Thursday following two run-ins with a New Hampshire man.

Tommy Walsh, 44, of Manchester, was charged with five counts of possession with intent to distribute, three counts of possession with intent to distribute, as well as being a felon in possession of a firearm and violation of bail. Walsh had originally been subject to a search warrant last week that produced heroin, cocaine, and a 9 mm handgun, according to the Manchester Police Department.

On Wednesday Oct. 8, Walsh was involved in a vehicle chase and was able to get away, the police department said. Officers were able to locate him and arrest him Thursday Oct. 9 in McGregor Square at the Rite-Aid parking lot, allegedly catching him with 24 grams of cocaine, 7 grams of crack-cocaine, 2 grams of heroin, 30-30 mg of amphetamine tables, and five 30 mg Oxycodone tablets.

Walsh's brother, Donald Walsh, was also arrested for operating after suspension, possession of a controlled drug-misdemeanor, and possession of a controlled drug. They both were arraigned Friday morning.

Manchester police were also able to nab two others, including 26-year old Adi Melkic, who had five grams of heroin on him during Walsh's arrest, and 33-year old Gregory Geneus for possession of a controlled drug.
