NH church cancels service this week after yesterday's shooting that hurt 3

PELHAM, N.H. — New England Pentecostal Ministries canceled its service through next Sunday, Oct. 20 in the wake of yesterday's shooting in Pelham, N.H. that injured three.

They posted on their Facebook page after the incident, confirming that two people had been shot but no one was killed. They also asked for prayers for the families of those hurt.

Dale Halloway, 37, has been arrested and charged with first-degree assault and also faces charges on alternative counts of purposely and knowingly causing bodily injury by means of a deadly weapon.

The two shot have been identified as Bishop Stanley Choate, 75, of New England Pentecostal Ministries and Claire McMullen, 60. Choate, who was shot in the upper chest, is in serious condition at Tufts Medical Center, per officials. McMullen is in good condition at a local hospital after being shot in the arm.

The third victim, 60-year-old Mark Castiglione, was hospitalized after being struck in the head with an object during the incident. He has since been released from Southern New Hampshire Medical Center.

McMullen and Castiglione were the respective bride and groom at the wedding on Saturday.
