New York man arrested in Woburn supermarket parking lot on drug charge

WOBURN, Mass. — Police intercepted a large fentanyl delivery on Thursday in the parking lot of the Market Basket in Woburn, according to Woburn Police Detective Sergeant John Walsh.

Walsh said Kelvin Jimenez, 28, Bronx, New York, had 3,238 grams of fentanyl with him.

Jimenez was arrested and charged with trafficking more than 10 grams of fentanyl.

The Drug Enforcement Administration and Massachusetts State Police assisted Woburn Police with the arrest.
