BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) âThe New England Aquarium just welcomed a new addition!
Commander, an almost 400-pound northern fur seal, is commanding all the attention of the aquarium staff and will be ready to meet the people of Boston by April vacation.
The 11-year-old seal came from the Seattle Aquarium. He is one of nine northern fur seals living in aquariums in the US, and five of them are in Boston. Commander is enjoying settling in to the aquarium's fur seal colony.
Commander will be waiting to meet you at the aquarium.
