NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. — Northborough Police arrested a man who they said was attempting to entice young girls through an ad on Craigslist.
Mark Baier, 55, of Milford, had posed an ad on Craiglist saying he was interested in meeting a young female in Northborough.
Detectives responded to the ad and then set up a meeting with Baier. During their conversation, Baier expressed he wanted to have a sexual relationship with an 11-year-old girl in his van.
Baier was under the impression he was going to meet up with the undercover detective who was supposed to bring a young girl along with him.
When he showed up to Watson Park, the designated meeting spot, he was arrested by police.
He was charged with enticing a minor under the age of 16 for sex and attempting to commit child rape.
Baier was arraigned at Westborough District Court on Monday morning.
