WEST BARNSTABLE, Mass. — A woman crashed her car through the back of her garage on Cape Cod last week.
Firefighters and medical crews were called to a home in West Barnstable on Friday afternoon after the driver of a Volkswagen Taos barreled through the back wall of her garage, according to the West Barnstable Fire Department.
The woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the crash.
Photos from the scene showed the rear of the SUV dangling out of the garage with its frontend resting on the ground.
Officials noted that the garage had been modified with a two-inch lip that requires drivers to hit the accelerator when pulling in.
There were no additional details available.
