Whoops! Mass. town scrambling to take action after typo painted on road near middle ‘shcool’

HOLDEN, Mass. — A Massachusetts town is addressing a misspelled word that was painted into the road near Mountview Middle School.

The town of Holden was made aware that ‘School’ was spelled ‘Shcool’ and said the contractor was informed shortly after the typo occurred two weeks ago. But according to the town’s Facebook page, the contractor is not able to repaint the text due to the recent weather conditions.

However, the town announced a temporary solution for the road paint typo.

“We expect it to be corrected shortly and we are eternally grateful for everyone’s input on this matter,” said the town’s Facebook page.

This is a developing story. Check back for updates as more information becomes available.
