‘This is our town’: Celtics fans react to dominating Game 7 victory over Philadelphia

BOSTON, Mass.--In a do-or-die game, the Celtics not only live to see another series, but they did it in a dominating fashion beating the Philadelphia 76ers 112-88.

For the second year in a row, Boston is going to the Eastern Conference Finals taking on the Miami Heat led by first-year head coach Joe Mazulla.

After the big win, fans flooded Causeway Street outside of TD Garden for an electric celebration.

“I need you to be up, I need you to come with the energy,” says Jalen Brown before Game 7 against the Philadelphia 76ers.

Bars packed with Celtics fans fully accepted Brown’s Game 7 challenge.

“Just as good as being in the Garden everybody is so excited literally feels like you are at the game,” says a Celtics Fan.

Especially as Jayson Tatum drained shot after shot, scoring 51 points just three days after proclaiming himself as one of the best basketball players in the world.

“Tatum oh my god was he on fire,” says a Celtics Fan.

By the second half, the Celtics never looked back, leading by more than 20 points the rest of the way.

“This is our town nobody is going to come in here and run us out,” added another fan.

Now fans have their sights set on the Celtics next series taking on the Miami Heat for Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
