TD Garden to host free one night only concert in July

BOSTON — For one night only in July, the TD Garden will host a free concert and traveling museum, open to the public.

Jim Irsay, owner and CEO of the Indianapolis Colts, will bring “The Jim Irsay Collection” to Causeway Street on July 15, which will feature iconic artifacts from rock music, American history, and pop culture as well as a live music performance from The Jim Irsay Band.

The event runs from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. and spots will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.

The band consists of five-time Grammy nominee Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Carmella Ramsey, Mike Mills, and many more.

Guest performers at past shows have included John Mellencamp, Stephen Stills, and Buddy Guy.

“I started this collection and tour to bring people from all walks of life together to celebrate our shared history and culture and spread positive messages of unity and inspiration throughout this country and world,” Irsay said. “It’s also why we’re so excited to bring our show to Boston, the home of so much American history and music history.”
