BOSTON — TD Garden has put together a new menu for fans as the Boston Celtics host the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference finals for Game 1 on Wednesday.
The Boston-themed food items include:
- The Boston “beef & reef” sandwich, a 10 oz. cheeseburger topped with Maine lobster meat and a truffle sauce.
- The 617 seared cod with garlic mashed potatoes, passionfruit-butter sauce, and shaved fennel.
- The “Defend Causeway” quesadilla with honey barbecue braised chicken and Queso Chihuahua served with ranch dressing and housemade potato chips.
The Miami-themed foods include:
- The “Beat the Heat " bites, pieces of double-fried Korean barbecue chicken with crispy garlic and shallots, served with a side of french fries.
- The “Miami Vice slice,” pizza is topped with pulled pork cooked in habanero bacon jam, mozzarella cheese, and fresh jalapeno slices.
- The “Smash (Miami)” burger, is topped with pastrami and mustard relish and served on a potato roll.
Drink specials include:
- The “Bleed Green” cocktail is made with lemon and mint simple syrup, coconut water, and the customer’s choice of either tequila, gin, or vodka.
- The “Painkillah” is made with two different kinds of rum, orange juice, pineapple juice, and coconut cream liqueur.
- The “Magic City” margarita is a spicy and smoky cocktail made with mezcal, tequila, and cold-pressed juice.
Beyond food, there is arena swag, as some vendors promise unique and limited inventory items all aimed at making an experience fit for champions.
Tipoff for Game 1 is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. Wednesday in Boston.
